Above and Beyond was launched in January 2015 by Claudia Pape. A Graphic Designer by trade, Claudia graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters Degree in Communication Design in 1999.

Since then she worked in big agencies & boutique studios for diverse clients ranging from 5 star hotels, (Claridge’s, Raffles…) cultural institutions (Arts Council and Crafts Council…) and fashion houses (Mulberry, Victoria Beckham…) to automobile clients (Skoda, Land Rover)

When founding Above and Beyond, her initial aim was to find a home for all the projects and ideas that came up outside of other people’s agencies. Since then, what was initially conceived as a ‘little side line' turned into an ever-growing brand and a near full time venture, producing ideas and concepts that go beyond simply applying a graphic or pattern to an item. Whether it is to connect two pillow cases to form a unit, or turn two plates into a set telling time, there always is a reason behind what we do, that makes the result stand out.
